Plenary meeting and best practice exchange - Vienna – 10-12 Aprile, 2013
The activities of the INTEGREEN project are now proceeding fast. On April 10th - 12nd 2013 the Municipality of Bolzano and TIS innovation park went to Vienna in order to discuss with partner Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) the current state of project activities and to plan the ones scheduled for the following months.
During the first day, all the administrative and dissemination aspects of the project were primarily evaluated. The second day was entirely dedicated to the evaluation and discussion of several technical aspects and issues related to solutions and prototypes to be developed during the project. The second part of this day was opened even to numerous South Tyrolean parties involved in the project as subcontractors or stakeholders.
Finally, during the third day a best-practice exchange was organized with relevant Austrian government organizations. This has been the occasion for the South Tyrolean delegation to visit the traffic management center of ASFINAG, the main road operator in Austria, and to assist at a live demo of cooperative mobility applications, developed within the scope of the Testfeld Telematik project. This best-practice exchange has created the possibility to create and establish important synergies between current ITS projects and to open up the possibility for some future collaborations.
